Riccardo Degasperi

Research Fellow | Bank of Italy

I am an empirical macroeconomist interested in monetary policy, international economics, energy, and applied econometrics. I focus my research on the international propagation of monetary policy shocks, on the identification of shocks to the expectations of oil supply and demand, and on the effects of unconventional monetary policy.

I have obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick in July 2022.

I joined the Bank of Italy as a Fellow in September 2022.
